With Love A Message from Casey’s Wife Jamie Marie Hines, Sadly On December 9th 2018 My Husband of 37 years Casey Howard Irvine passed away 4 days after Major Heart attack. I personally tried to revive his heart, but me the paramedics & surgeons tried but could not bring him back. As this was the most devastating time in my life I am so thankful for the Family & friends for all the love and support That came pouring thru. Special Thanks for my younger sister Melodie Hines for being my ROCK and my BRAIN she tried to help me understand all the medical terms and protocols. Without the huge support of my little sister I don’t know how I made it through, she said I was so strong but I was dying inside and the lump got harder to swallow .When asked if Casey would donate the gift of life the answer was yes without hesitation. We were told the first gift was a heart valve donated to a baby…..my heart felt so warm…then found out his eyes were also gifted to help another person see, I was overwhelmed with emotions, thanks to my awesome Husband another person will see how beautiful life and love can be. Casey also donated other organs & tissue we have yet to be advised of the recipients to receive Casey gifts. Those who knew him know how he often rescued, saved or help animals in need he could never walk away from animals that seemed to call him, knowing yes he would help. Casey was very passionate about Fishing & wildlife. We spent many weekends driving into the country or Algonquin park Moose spotting and enjoying nature. We made weekly trips to the deer park just to watch the beauty of deer in the wild. I have seen the compassion first hand and watched proudly how he would go out of his ways to help animals in need, from freeing trapped seagulls, abandoned ducks, lost birds, skunks ,snakes, turtles whatever called to him. He would pull over or turn around to help turtles and snakes cross rural highway roads. I remember all the rock tunes we blasted on our many road trips. Every song reminds me of him. I now use those tunes as my therapy sing dance and cry,I know he is beside me singing and it makes me feel some how close to him. So now in his last days on earth he has also helped many people have a better life or improved life thru gift of life Organ donations. Casey was my Husband of 37 years and I'm not sure how to go on without him, but I will with a broken heart as I miss him so much each day. I hope time will fill this empty feeling I have and aching heart that won't let me forget. I loved him so much for so long..It hurts..The memories we shared are forever in my heart. Our babies Dale Tweek and Little‘E are feeling the loss as well. Your cell phone goes off every morning at 4 and it breaks my heart all over again…..I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS …. Until we meet again my Love……..I can't hardly wait. I Would like to thank all the visitors to his ICU room My mother Marilyn Hines and Alice Stewart, Sister Melodie Hines, Brother John D. Hines, Brother Norm Hayman, Brother Peter Silicker, Sister Sue Emmer, Brother Pete Harvey, Brother Paul Irvine. I would also like to give special thanks to All the Surgeons, Doctors Nurses, Social workers Church Chaplin. A special Thank you To Sharon for handling with care organ & tissue donations. I would like to give special Thanks to Kelly Marie Mcclintoc ,Bonnie Keith, Mike Irvine, Anne Harvey & The Entire Harvey & Emmer Families,& My work Family at Aviva Canada .Special thanks to BASS FREAKS Elaine & Norm. BIG thanks to All of Our family friends for support past present & future: The Late John Harvey, The late Dave Hayman, General & Sargent . Nephews Including Leroy & Judgey…All of my Raffiek Family, Irvine Brothers & Sisters ,Aunt Uncles & many friends along the way… Celebration of Life BASH to be held later this spring/summer details being worked out.
