Heather Suzanne Schreiber (née Purdy)

April 18th 1942-February 9th 2022 It is with shock, and tremendous sorrow, that we announce the Death of our beloved Heather on the Morning of February 9th, with her Daughters by her side in Burlington, Ontario. She is survived by her Daughters Kirsten, and Daina Schreiber (Andrew). Proceeded in Death by her Mother Ethel Purdy, Father Arthur Purdy, as well as her brother David Purdy, (Ann) and sisters Beverly Heyd, (Gordon) and Carol Trusler (Bill). Heather was a devoted and dotting mother. A consummate teacher both in trade, and in life. Heather made everyone laugh, with her keen sense of humour, and was truly loved by all that knew her. She was our voice of reason, kind hearted, and someone who listened to all of our troubles without judgement and celebrated our triumphs. She loved to make jokes and she made everyone feel important, special, and welcomed. She enjoyed spending time skating, swimming, walking, and writing poetry. She loved music and you could often catch her dancing and singing along. Thank you Heather for always putting us first and giving us such a beautiful life . Thank you for nurturing soft and loving hearts in us, they will continue to be your legacy. Our worlds have been forever changed, and not a day will pass without you in our thoughts. Rest well.
