It is with great sadness and much heartache that we announce the passing of Robert Edward Pretty on Dec 10 at the Ottawa General Hospital. He served his country for 22 years where he spent much time in remote postings such as Alert, Massie BC and Gander NFLD. For the past 20 years he was employed as a Commissionaire, attaining the rank of Captain. He is predeceased by parents, Joan Elizabeth Pretty and Robert Arthur Pretty. He is survived by siblings Linda Marion Chace of Halifax, Kenneth Nathaniel Benjamin Pretty (Valerie Pretty) of Clarence Creek Ont, Kim Arthur Pretty ( Michele St Pierre) of Frelighsburg Qc, and Cheryl Ann Pretty (Scott Whitehead) of Windsor NS. He will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of his life will be held at the Orleans Legion Branch 632, 800 Taylor Creek Drive, on Feb 02from 2pm until 5 pm.
