January 25, 1965 - June 25, 2018 - It is with great sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Sandra Desjardins of North Bay, Ontario, at Humber River Hospital in Toronto on Monday June 25th, 2018, at the age of 53. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her mother Gwen Desjardins, father Shannon Pitt, husband Denis Talbot, daughters Jessica Pendergast (Mark) and Brooklyn Talbot, and grandson Arthur. She was a devoted sister to Emile Desjardins, Raymond Desjardins, Karron Pitt, Kim Pitt and Denis Rochon and an adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded by her step-father Robert Desjardins. Those who knew Sandy, knew her for her incredible patience and contagious laughter, as she dedicated herself to be whatever anyone needed her to be: a shoulder to cry on, a rock to stand on, or a voice of reason in the dark. Sandy lived for her days mentoring the youth of North Bay. Each and every one that entered into her care became her family. There will be a service at 10am Saturday July 7th at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Beth St. North Bay, ON. The family will also be welcoming everyone who knew this wonderful woman at a celebration of Sandy’s life on Saturday July 7th from 7pm to 1am at the Best Western at 700 Lakeshore Dr. North Bay, Ontario.
